We invite you to join our 2023 Surgical Symposium in Nairobi which is dedicated to the advancement of surgical knowledge and the improvement of patient care in the specialized fields of colorectal, gynaecologic, and urologic surgery.
Surgical Symposium 2022: Endocrine, Breast & Oncoplastic Surgery in present day
Health Yetu organised a symposium together with its partners MP Shah Hospital and the Kenyan Association of Surgery at the M.P. Shah Hospital in Nairobi. This is the first symposium that has been organised trough this collaboration, that will become a yearly event. Aim of this project is to exchange knowledge and experiences between Kenyan and Dutch hospitals and to contribute to the Continuous Medical Education (CME) program of East African specialists, doctors in training and medical students. In this symposium, a variety of subjects within endocrine, breast and oncoplastic surgery were discussed by specialists from several hospitals, based in either Kenya or The Netherlands. Furthermore, multiple interesting cases from their daily practice were brought to the table.
