The South Horr Camp, held in February 2024, delivered vital eye, dental, and general medical care to underserved communities in the region. In collaboration with Lions Sightfirst Eye Hospital (LSEH) and Lake Turkana Wind Power (LTWP), this initiative had a significant impact on community healthcare.

Achievements

• Eye Care:
  • 173 cataract surgeries were successfully conducted.
  • 1,300–1,400 patients were screened and treated.
  • Prescription glasses were provided to patients in need.
• Dental Care:
  • 179 patients received dental treatments, including extractions and fillings.
• General Medical Care:
  • 773 patients benefited from general medical services, including gynecological care.
