Five-Day Integrated Medical Outreach – Korr & Kargi, November 2025
In November 2025, Health Yetu conducted its seventh medical outreach in Korr and Kargi, delivering free, high-impact healthcare services across eye care, dental care, and HPV vaccination. Over five days, the Kenyan team treated 2,999 patients, marking the highest-impact outreach in Health Yetu’s history at that time. The deployment formed a core part of Health Yetu’s strategy to reach remote and underserved communities with limited or no access to essential healthcare services.
Reaching remote communities
The outreach placed strong emphasis on geographic access. Mobile clinics were established across multiple locations in Korr and Kargi, enabling patients to receive diagnosis, treatment, and referral services close to home. This decentralized approach reduced travel burdens for patients and increased service uptake in communities that are typically excluded from routine healthcare delivery.

Surgical care and integrated delivery
Alongside high-volume outpatient services, the camp delivered life-changing surgical interventions, including cataract operations that restored sight and improved long-term quality of life.
The integrated delivery model—combining eye care, dental care, and HPV services within a single coordinated deployment—demonstrated the effectiveness and scalability of Health Yetu’s approach to comprehensive healthcare delivery in remote settings.
