Five HPV vaccination camps - Marsabit County
Since April 2026, Health Yetu has successfully conducted five HPV vaccination outreach camps across Marsabit County, reaching both school-going and non-school-going girls with life-saving cervical cancer prevention services and health education. The outreach included two Manyatta Edition camps focused on non-school-going girls and three school-based vaccination campaigns. Through the Manyatta Edition outreaches, 1,191 girls received the HPV vaccine, while more than 3,900 girls and community members participated in health education sessions on cervical cancer prevention, HPV, and the importance of vaccination.

Dental Training Week - Nairobi
In preparation for the upcoming dental outreach camp in South Horr this June, Health Yetu Foundation organized a dental training week in Nairobi for two nurses from Northern Kenya. During the training, the nurses learned how to recognize common dental problems such as cavities, infections, gum disease, pain complaints, and other early warning signs that may require further treatment. They were also trained in providing basic oral health education, including toothbrushing instructions, prevention advice, and guidance that can be shared with children and families in schools and local communities.

Internal restructuring
The Operations Team is led in Kenya and is responsible for end-to-end program delivery. This includes planning and execution of medical camps, clinical operations, logistics, equipment management, local partnerships, and day-to-day oversight of the Eye, Dental, and HPV programs.

Medical outreach: Archers Post, Northern Kenya
The sixth Health Yetu medical camp in Archers Post delivered focused healthcare services in eye care, dental care, and HPV vaccinations. Over five days, the team treated 2,242 patients, achieving Health Yetu’s most concentrated impact at that time.

Mount Kenya Triathlon
The first-ever Health Yetu x Abdi Nageeye Mount Kenya Triathlon brought together fourteen participants, supported by guides, cooks, and porters, for four demanding days of swimming, mountain biking, and hiking to Point Lenana (4,985 m). The pilot edition raised €37,208 and marked the launch of a new partnership with the Abdi Nageeye Foundation for 2026.

Medical outreach: Korr & Kargi, Northern Kenya 2025
Our Integrated Health Camp in Korr & Kargi, for five full days, took place in November 2025. The seventh Health Yetu medical camp in Korr and Kargi delivered vital healthcare services focused on eye care, dental care, and HPV vaccinations. Over five days, the Kenyan team treated 2,999 patients, achieving the highest impact in Health Yetu’s history to date.

Upcoming medical outreach in Moite 2026
In March 2026, Health Yetu will launch its first large-scale medical camp of the year in Moite, Marsabit County. The outreach will bring together all three specialist teams—Eye, Dental, and HPV—for five full days of free, high-impact healthcare services. This integrated deployment supports our long-term goal of ensuring annual access to essential eye care, dental care, and HPV vaccination across Marsabit and Samburu counties by 2030.
