Delivering Integrated Eye, Dental, and HPV Care in Archers Post

In March 2025, Health Yetu conducted its sixth medical outreach in Archers Post, Northern Kenya. This five-day integrated health camp delivered free, high-impact healthcare services across eye care, dental care, and HPV vaccination, reaching communities with limited access to essential medical services.

The Archers Post camp marked an important operational milestone, representing the first time Health Yetu implemented a fully integrated outreach in this location—bringing all three medical programs together within a single coordinated deployment.

Integrated service delivery

By combining eye care, dental care, and HPV services into one operation, the camp improved overall efficiency, reduced patient waiting times, and strengthened collaboration across medical teams. The integrated model allowed Health Yetu to maximize impact within a limited timeframe while maintaining high standards of clinical care.

Surgical impact and patient outcomes

Alongside high-volume outpatient services, the outreach delivered a significant number of surgical interventions. Cataract surgeries restored sight for patients suffering from preventable blindness, directly improving quality of life and long-term independence within the community.

The results demonstrated the effectiveness of focused, integrated service delivery in remote and resource-limited settings.
